The White House, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and the Columbia University Office of Military and Veterans Affairs invite you to a White House Roundtable discussion on opportunities in federal service for student military veterans and recent graduates featuring OPM Director John Berry. This will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, March 26 in 467 Schermerhorn.

Director John Berry. As the Director of the United States Office of Personnel Management, John Berry is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and setting benefits policies for 1.9 million Federal civilian employees. With over twenty years of experience in the Federal government, Berry is a passionate and aggressive advocate for public service and Federal workers. His career in Federal service has seen him manage a large segment of Federal law enforcement, including the Secret Service, and it has taken him to both the North and South Poles and across the world. Director Berry is responsible for increasing access to Federal opportunities for veterans, and has worked closely with the private sector to encourage its employment of military veterans.
